UTAH TEEN TROUT CAMP 2025
June 18-20, 2025
Sportsman’s Paradise, White’s Ranch
Paradise, Utah
REGISTRATION FOR JUNE 2025 TROUT CAMP IS NOW OPEN.
Teen Trout Camp
The program is designed for mature teenagers between 13 -17 years of age who want to learn all aspects of fly fishing. The focus of this camp is to have fun while learning and perfecting a new lifelong sport. No prior experience or equipment is needed. All required gear (rods, reels, vests, flies, lines, etc.) is provided.
Instruction is provided by qualified and experienced volunteers. This three-day sleepaway camp offers appropriate separation and supervision in cabins, dorms, or tents. All meals and snacks are included. Participants will learn casting, fly selection, fishing techniques, knot tying, fly tying, entomology, and fishing etiquette.
This event is limited to 14 participants, with enrollment on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the limit is reached, additional applicants will be placed on a waitlist in the order their applications are received.
Guardians are responsible for dropping off and picking up their child/participant at Paradise Ranch. At pick-up on the third day, you will have the opportunity to fish with your child for a few hours and, if desired, enjoy dinner at the Ranch for an optional additional cost.
All adult mentors and volunteers must pass police background checks before being approved to participate in the program. They are trained to work with young people and are experienced fly fishers.
The cost for this event is $310.00 per participant, with payment due in advance upon submission of this form. Refunds are available, minus a $10 service fee, if the participant cancels on or before May 15, 2025. Guardians will also need to sign a standard release form, and both guardians and participants must sign a photo waiver, as sponsors may wish to use photos taken during the event.
If you would like to support our cause by sponsoring underprivileged children, becoming a mentor, contributing equipment for the event, or if you have any questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to contact Jason Eborn at jason.b.eborn@gmail.com.
